Guadalupe Uquillas
Educational Lectures Coordinator
Guadalupe Uquillas (PhD in Literature). After having taught at Beloit College in Wisconsin for 6 years, she returned to Ecuador and worked as a Director of the Beloit College Study Abroad Program which gave her the experience to deal with international students. She is now in charge of coordinating the lectures on social work, National Health Service and Indigenous groups, and also of creating the curriculum for some of our educational programs.

Nancy, our incredibly helpful Spanish school coordinator, guarantees that Alma Ecuador clients desiring a bit of language instruction receive excellent Spanish classes. She is extremely knowledgeable about Ecuadorian culture and loves to share her information with her students.

Speaking fluent English and Spanish, Christian captivates an international crowd with his informative tours. Due to his many travels abroad, he possesses a deep understanding and appreciation of different cultures that allow him to achieve his primary goal of participant satisfaction with every tour.

Tour Leader (Specialist in Environmental Programs)
With a degree in Sustainable Tourism, Vladimir has been involved in various tourism and conservation activities throughout Ecuador including within indigenous communities. A passionate person and nature enthusiast, Vladimir is an exceptional tour leader with an impressive grasp of Ecuadorian wild life, specifically regarding birds, mammals and amphibians.

Mountain guide
Fernando has been an ASEGUIM certified mountain guide for more than 6 years and has been climbing mountains for over a decade. He is fluent in both Spanish and English and is constantly adding words in German, Hebrew, and Quechua to his vocabulary.

National Tour Guide (Specialist in programs around Ecuador)
Due to his experience as professional tour guide and his fondness of adventure sports Cesar has become an adventure tourism guide specialized in multisport tours (hiking, rafting, sea kayaking, mountain biking, horseback riding and others.) Beside his degree in Ecotourism, he has taken courses in management of protected areas and ecology in the different ecosystems of Ecuador. Nature enthusiasts and outdoor athletes alike will feel right at home on a trip with Cesar, our multisport expert!
